A note about COVID-19

To the LANE EIGHT family:

First off, we hope you and your loved ones are all staying safe during this health crisis.

As we are all aware of by now, the severity of COVID-19, and the impact it is causing, are unprecedented. It’s a strange and unpredictable situation, but we feel it’s important to let you know our plans for dealing with the situation here at LANE EIGHT.

Our online store remains open, so you can still shop all your favorite colors online. However, we do expect our deliveries to take a few days longer than they ordinarily would due to the disruptions.

With that said, the situation is complicated and fluid, and so our plans might change. If they do, we’ll make sure to update everyone as changes happen.

In times of uncertainty, the importance of our families and communities come to the fore. We’re fortunate to be a part of an incredible worldwide family and community, and our commitment continues to be serving you guys – not just by making the world’s best workout shoes, but also by providing a shoulder to lean on. What’s the name all about?

The name LANE EIGHT comes from the world of track and field. In a race, the 8th lane is typically one of the hardest lanes to start from since you’re on the outside – but you’re still in the race, which means you still got a shot. That’s the attitude that we embrace – we’re on the outside and we’re definitely the underdogs, but we’re still in this race!

How do your shoes fit?

The Trainer AD 1 generally fits true to size. They’re designed for a close, supportive fit and may feel a bit snug at first, but will quickly break-in and become your new favorite shoes. However, if you have a wide foot we recommend going up a half size. If you are still unsure of which size to go for, check out our comprehensive size guide.

Do you carry larger women sizes?

Our shoes are unisex and therefore offer the same fit for women and men. If you do not see your women’s size available, you can simply convert your size to the equivalent men’s size. There is one full US size difference between women’s and men’s sizes. For example, if you are a women’s US 10, the equivalent men’s size is US 9.

What's the heel to toe drop?

Our heel to toe drop is 10mm but due to our textured sock liner, it feels like 8mm.

Can I remove the sockliners?

Yes, our sockliners are easily removable. So if you need to wear your own orthotics, removing our sockliner to add yours is a piece of cake! However, for the ultimate experience, we suggest you keep them in.

Are your shoes vegan?

We have shifted away from using animal materials, and all LANE EIGHT sneakers are made without any animal materials. Read more here!

How do I clean my shoes?

If your shoes are starting to look a little less than fresh, we recommend starting with a firm brush or toothbrush to remove all loose dirt and debris. Then, apply water or cleaning solution to your brush and gently massage the stained area. Check out this detailed cleaning guide.

Shipping & Tracking

Where do you ship?

We currently only ship domestically within the continental US, Hawaii, and Alaska. If you’re based elsewhere, send us an email at hello@laneeight.com, we’re always on the lookout for our next landing spot!

What is the status of my order?

We will send you a shipping notification via email once your shoes are on the way. If you are having any trouble tracking your order, contact us at help@laneeight.com.

Orders are processed Monday to Friday. If you place an order on the weekend, it will be fulfilled the following business day.

What if I want to change or cancel my order?

We try to fulfil orders as soon as possible, but if you send an email to help@laneeight.com, we will try to find a solution asap.

If you’re having second thoughts don’t worry. We offer 30 days free returns, so try them on and put them to the test. If you don’t love them, we’ll take them back. Easy. Please note that all returns must include the original packaging and all shipping fees are non-refundable.

How much is shipping?

Standard shipping (5-8 Business Days) is $5 and express shipping (2-5 Business Days) is $15 USD. If you sign up for our newsletters, you’ll get free standard shipping on your first order!

Can I expedite my order?

We offer Express shipping for $15 USD with most deliveries in 2-5 business days.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day free returns period from the time you place your order. If you’re not sold by day 30, you can return your shoes for free with no questions asked, even if you’ve been staying active in them. Please note, we only offer either one return or exchange per order, all returns and exchanges must include the original packaging, and all shipping costs are non-refundable.

How many times can I make an exchange for my order?

We only offer a one time exchange within our 30-day return and exchange policy. To clarify, we do not exchange or refund goods that have already been exchanged.

How do I make a return or exchange?

Refunds and exchanges are super simple. All you need to do is input your email and order number into the form on our returns page. Our customer service representative will follow up with a link for you to complete your request.

When can I expect my refund?

Hold tight, it can take our warehouse team up to three weeks to receive and process your return. You will receive a refund notification email as soon as we’ve issued your refund. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable.

What is Klarna?

Klarna is an alternate payment method that lets you split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments. Learn more.

How do I use Klarna?

You can choose Klarna as your payment method at checkout. Once your order ships, you’ll be charged the first of 4 payments. Klarna will notify you when your payment is processed, and they’ll let you know ahead of time before your next payments go through.

What qualifications do I need to use Klarna?

To sign up for Klarna, you’ll need:

Klarna currently accepts most debit and credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, Discover). However, prepaid cards are not accepted.

How do payments work?

The first payment will be taken from your credit or debit card when your order ships. The remaining three payments will be automatically charged to your card 14, 28, and 42 days later. Read more about the payment schedule.
